Art in the streets of Pakistan
I love this spectacular colorful art in odd places very inspiring!
Observe on the peacock that they not only paint the metal frames but add tape and mirrors for effect so it's actually multimedia!
The colors are magnificient and here are some other objects turned into works of art!

I even have this same exact picture of puddled curtains in my folder of inspiring pictures!
I love sheer curtains for this! |
I also love white, shabby, dreamy, feminine, airy, light blues and other pastels...
...and I thought thank you Rachel Ashwell for coining the phrase "Shabby chic"!

Elle Decor article: "Look Sharp" April 2004
I was looking at an older post on Brabourne Farm and saw this dining room and I thought oh this dining room is breathtaking
Then I realized I recognized this picture because I have looked at this dining room in Elle Decor hundreds of times since I bought that magazine in April 2004.
It is Christopher and Suzanne Sharp's home the founders of the Rug Company still my favorite home featured in any magazine to date go see it all at Elle Decor article Look Sharp April 2004 edition.
And here a few more of my favorite pictures...all credited to Elle Decor
I was inspired then and I still am. For more inspiration check out their ads here's one below it's gorgeous too!

H&M's collaboration with WaterAid
via: Urban Style Vibes* |
This is H&M's pop-up beach store recently placed The Hague’s popular Scheveningen seaside resort in the Netherlands to benefit global charity WaterAid.
According to Springwise "H&M has been collaborating with WaterAid since 2002, including an initiative every summer whereby the retailer sells an exclusive bikini or — this year — a whole beachwear collection dedicated to the effort, with 10 percent of proceeds donated toward providing safe water and sanitation to developing countries. This year, however, H&M took it's support further by donating... a full 25 percent of the sales proceeds directly to WaterAid, according to a report on the Superfuture blog."
I love this idea so gypsy and corporate generosity is always good.
